Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy

Important — Please Read Before Ordering

All products sold by THE SOUTH WIND are made-to-order and printed on demand. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in this policy in full.

01  About Our Products

All products sold by THE SOUTH WIND are made-to-order and printed on demand. Production begins immediately after an order is confirmed. Because of this, our cancellation and return windows are strictly limited and defined below.

02  Order Cancellation

Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, cancellation is not possible. Because each product is printed exclusively for your order, production begins immediately and cannot be reversed.

Refused Deliveries

You may refuse to accept a delivery at the time it is handed over. However, refused deliveries do not qualify for a refund, as the product has already been manufactured exclusively for your order. Refusing delivery does not constitute a valid cancellation.

Exception — Duplicate Orders: In the rare event of a payment or technical error resulting in a duplicate order, please contact us at support@thesouthwind.in within 2 hours of placing the order. We will review such cases at our sole discretion.

03  Returns & Refunds — Eligibility

We accept return and refund requests only in the following cases:

Wrong item delivered (wrong design / size / product) Return + Full Refund or Replacement

To be eligible, all of the following must be met:

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@thesouthwind.in
Provide your Order ID
Submit clear photos and/or video of the product clearly showing the issue — requests without evidence will not be entertained

THE SOUTH WIND reserves the right to approve or reject any return or refund request based on the evidence provided and compliance with this policy.

04  Size Exchange

⚠ Check Our Size Guide Before Ordering

We provide a detailed Size Guide on our website that reflects the actual measurements of our products. It is the customer's responsibility to refer to the Size Guide and select the correct size before purchasing. Size-related issues arising from not consulting the Size Guide are not eligible for exchange or refund.

We do not accept returns for size-related issues. However, we offer a one-time size exchange if, after referring to our Size Guide, the delivered size does not match your preference or fit expectations.

To be eligible for a size exchange:

The request must be raised within 7 days of delivery
The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags intact
Exchange requests will not be accepted if the customer selected the correct size as per our Size Guide but the product does not fit personal preference
Exchanges are subject to availability of the requested size
Only one exchange per order is permitted

No Returns for Size Issues

Size-related requests are eligible for exchange only — not returns or refunds — regardless of the reason.

05  Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Cases

The following situations are strictly not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds under any circumstances:

Change of mind after placing the order or after delivery
Incorrect size, colour, design, or other details selected by the customer at the time of ordering
Failure to consult the Size Guide prior to purchase
Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
Products that have been used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
Minor colour variations due to screen calibration, display settings, monitor type, or lighting conditions (inherent to digital printing)
Delivery delays caused by courier partners or logistical circumstances beyond our control
Orders refused at the point of delivery without a qualifying defect
Return or exchange requests raised after 7 days from the date of delivery

06  Return & Exchange Process

If your return or exchange request is approved by our team, the following process applies:

2Our team will review and respond within 3 business days
3If approved, we will share the return shipping address via email
4Ship the product back securely and in original condition with all tags intact
5Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, except where the return is due to a defective, damaged, or wrong item dispatched by us
6Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–10 business days
7Refunds will be credited to the original payment method; in select cases, store credit may be issued at our discretion

07  Warranty

Our products do not carry a manufacturer's warranty unless explicitly stated on the product listing. For any product-specific warranty claims, refer to the information provided at the time of purchase.

THE SOUTH WIND is not responsible for general wear and tear, misuse, or damage caused after the product has been delivered and accepted.

08  Legal Provisions

8.1  Photographic Evidence Requirement

All return, refund, and exchange claims require clear photographic and/or video evidence of the issue. Requests submitted without adequate evidence will not be entertained. Submission of false or misleading evidence may result in legal action.

8.2  Chargeback & Payment Disputes

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this policy in full. Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated outside of this policy will be actively contested by THE SOUTH WIND. We reserve the right to provide all order and communication records to the relevant payment provider or financial institution.

8.3  Colour Variation Disclaimer

Colours displayed on product listings are for representational purposes only. Actual product colours may vary slightly due to monitor calibration, screen type, display settings, and lighting conditions. Such variations are not considered defects and do not qualify for returns or refunds.

8.4  Customer Responsibility for Order Details

The customer is solely responsible for providing accurate delivery information, selecting the correct product size (with reference to our Size Guide), and reviewing the order before completing payment. THE SOUTH WIND is not liable for any loss, delay, or non-delivery arising from incorrect information provided by the customer.

8.5  Misuse of Policy / Fraudulent Claims

THE SOUTH WIND reserves the right to reject claims and permanently restrict access to our platform for customers who make fraudulent return or refund claims, abuse our exchange policy, or repeatedly misuse our policies. We reserve the right to take legal action where applicable.

8.6  Force Majeure

THE SOUTH WIND shall not be held liable for any delays, failures, or inability to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, strikes, courier disruptions, or acts of God.

8.7  Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy and any disputes arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kerala, India.

8.8  Policy Updates

THE SOUTH WIND reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version of this policy shall always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
